Why your gift matters.
"My problems were so much larger than an eating disorder. The real problem was rooted so deeply in my soul, food had simply been my solution, and that solution was no longer working. I learned so much about myself during those 42 days, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity Hope of Shades gave me. Over two and a half years later, I am still able to use what I learned at treatment. I am beyond grateful for the scholarship they gave me that gave me the opportunity to begin healing myself. I don’t think I would be where I am today without the foundation."

About the Foundation
The purpose of The Hope of Shades Foundation is to provide financial support for treatment
of individuals who are willingly seeking treatment for their eating disorder and the mental illnesses that accompany this disease.
Currently there are up to 30 million men and women who suffer with some type of eating disorder, but only 10 % of them receive treatment. In the spring of 2013, we established the Hope of Shades Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money to pay for treatment of eating disorders and the mental illnesses that accompany this disease. Funds raised provide treatment "scholarships" for individuals who cannot afford it. If you or anyone you know has been touched by the pain of an eating disorder, you know how devastating it can be. Anorexia, bulimia, and compulsive overeating destroy the lives of those suffering from the disease, and make the people who love them feel hopeless.
Through your connection with the foundation, together we can give back, celebrate and journey through recovery together.
Your support is greatly appreciated. Please go to our Donations page or contact us at info@hopeofshadesfoundation.org or 4516 Lovers Lane, Suite 162 / Dallas, Texas 75225.
